Civil War-dated circa 1861 Confederate States of America election ballot for Tennessee, 3 x 3.5, which, at the top, lists the nominees for the heads of state: “For President, Jefferson Davis. For Vice President, Alex. H. Stephens.” The ballot also lists a total of 14 local politicians, including William Henry Tibbs, who served in the Confederate States Congress. Mounted and framed with portraits of Davis and Stephens to an overall size of 22 x 13.25. In very good to fine condition, with some soiling and staining.
