Limited edition color satin-finish 13.5 x 10.5 photo of two mountaineers crossing a snowfield on their way over to Mount Everest, numbered 4/10, signed in the lower border in blue felt tip, “Ed Hillary.” The lower border also bears a printed quote from Hillary: “While on top of Everest, I looked across the valley towards the great peak, Makalu, and mentally worked out a route about how it could be climbed…It showed me that, even though I was standing on top of the world, it wasn’t the end of everything for me, by any means. I was still looking beyond to other interesting challenges.” Framed and in very fine condition.
