Outstanding 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet photo of Queen Victoria in a thoughtful, solemn pose, signed on the mount in ink, "Victoria R, Osborne, Jan: 17, 1874." Affixed to a silk moire backing within a unique 6 x 7.5 leather presentation frame, with an ornate "V.R." cast metal device at the top. In very good to fine condition, with light irregular toning, faint silvering, and wear to the original presentation frame.
