Red-and-white trucker-style snapback baseball cap from the 1984 presidential campaign of Ronald Reagan and George Bush, emblazoned with the logo of the "Reagan-Bush '84 All-Stars," boldly signed on the bill in black felt tip by Roger Maris, and signed on the crown in ink by other notable athletes, including: Joe Frazier, Floyd Patterson, Woody Hayes, Don Newcombe, Lacey O'Neal, Willie Davis, Bob Lloyd, and others. Also signed on the bill by the incumbent president's daughter, Maureen Reagan. In very good to fine condition, with fading to several of the signatures; Maris's autograph, however, remains especially bold. Accompanied by four original candid photographs taken at an 'Athletes for Reagan-Bush' campaign event, two letters by committee chairman Dick Schafrath, two flyers for campaign events, and a four-page personnel manifest for the "Visit of the Vice President to Elizabeth, New Jersey." Also includes a white "Bush-Quayle '92" baseball cap, featuring Bush's facsimile signature printed under the brim.
