Evangelist (1862-1935) and former baseball player who preached a fundamentalist theology in a highly flamboyant style. Scarce ALS signed "W. A. Sunday, Psalm 34," one page, 6 x 9.5, The Kahler letterhead, postmarked September 15, 1932. Handwritten letter to Mrs. J. G. McCrury, in full: "I am sorry you are ill but rest can do what medecine [sic] will not. I am here for treatment for run down condition from over work. Here is my signature as you requested." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in Sunday's hand.
