Description

ANS in Italian, signed "G. Puccini," penned on both sides of one of his personal calling cards, 3.5 x 2, imprinted with his name in block letters, "Giacomo Puccini," January 26, 1919. Puccini writes to Franco Zeni, "Caro Zeni," in Rome, thanking him for the beautiful photographs. Puccini proposes a meeting with a friend (translated): "Thank you for the lovely gift of the photographs of the airship. When shall we meet? I will stay for another week. We can arrange something with Adami, who I believe will return on Wednesday." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Puccini's hand.
