Vintage glossy 8 x 10 half-length photo of the Oscar-winning actor, signed and inscribed in black ink, "To 'Cookie,' who I think is an S.O.B., a T.W.A., an A.A.A., an R.S.V.P., a G.O.P., a Trojan, a Bruin, and a hell of a good egg. Every good wish, 1936.” In very good to fine condition, with some creasing in the top border. The recipient, “Cookie,” was the nickname for Richard Cook, a longtime sound technician for Paramount Studios who befriended numerous stars of the day.
