Two vintage signatures of Oscar-winning actor Clark Gable: one in black ink at the bottom of an off-white 7.25 x 10.5 typed letter from Gable to Paramount Pictures regarding his representatives, Ernst & Ernst (circa 1959); and the second in ballpoint on an off-white 8.25 x 11 sheet, a partial movie contract whose text has nearly completely faded. The second signature sheet is affixed to the bottom of the first, the reverse of which bears an affixed letter from Frederick E. Koehner, dated September 2, 1959, which, given its mention of Ernst & Ernst, may pertain to the Gable-signed letter. A trimmed glossy 8 x 9.5 photo of Gable as Rhett Butler from Gone With the Wind is affixed to the top of the signed letter. In very good to fine condition, with fading to the text of the document, not affecting its bold signature.
