DS, nine pages, 8.5 x 14, December 20, 1962. Memorandum of Agreement between Natalie Wood, Pakula-Mulligan Productions, Boardwalk Productions, and Paramount Pictures for the 1963 romantic drama film Love with the Proper Stranger. Signed prominently at the bottom of the last page in black ballpoint by Wood, and countersigned by two studio executives. Additionally, Wood has signed with her initials, “N. W.,” to two approved sections of the contract. In fine condition, with some faint toning in the signature area. Accompanied by a modern color 11 x 17 print of the poster for Love with the Proper Stranger.
Directed by Robert Mulligan and released by Paramount Pictures, Love with the Proper Stranger starred Natalie Wood opposite Hollywood legend Steve McQueen. Although the film was not a commercial success, it received five Academy Award nominations, including Best Actress for Wood.
