TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, State of New York Executive Chamber letterhead, August 11, 1932. Letter to Harold J. McCann, in full: "Thank you ever so much for the first flight envelope you sent to me. I am delighted to have it to add to my collection." Affixed to the letter are several colorful postage stamps honoring FDR, with three first day cancellations. In very good to fine condition, with scattered faint stains, and two small pieces of old tape at the top edge. Roosevelt was known far and wide as an avid stamp collector, making this an especially interesting letter.
