Letter evaluating a couple of film scripts, in part: "I have read your two screenplays carefully and am returning them to you very late in this same letter. 'Jeremie…et Vincent' is a charming and very lively story, but I preferred the other 'Moi…Je T'Aime' which would make a very good short or medium-length film, but which is frankly terrible if it is shot realistically, terrible like all stories of children's misfortune. I cannot keep either of these stories for my work, because I only shoot every two years and I always have more projects than time to complete them; but I took great pleasure in reading your two subjects."
