TLS signed “Yours sincerely, Margaret Thatcher,” one page, 8.25 x 11.75, House of Commons letterhead, December 12, 1991. Letter to Miss E. T. Freeborough, in part: "Thank you for your letter of the 7 December, and for your kind words. Thank you also for the beautiful bowl and water-colour sketch of Seaview, Isle of Wight. I am most honoured to receive these and I can assure you that they will be treasured always. I am of course most interested to read of your family connection with Elizabeth Fry and am particularly honoured to receive the porcelain bowl from one of her descendants." In fine condition, with creasing along the bottom edge. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope and a draft of the letter sent to her.
