Unsigned handwritten notes by President John F. Kennedy, one page, 8 x 5, White House letterhead, [December 12, 1962]. Kennedy writes, in full: "power as the rival of power, Built in conflict." In fine condition. Accompanied by a 1988 letter of provenance sent to noted JFK collector Robert L. White by Evelyn Lincoln, John F. Kennedy's personal secretary, in part: "This handwritten statement…was written by our late President John F. Kennedy at his desk in the Oval Office on December 14, 1962 as he was going over a speech to be made at 8:30 that evening at the Dinner of the Economic Club in New York City. This statement, he thought should be embodied in his speech."
