TLS signed “Roy,” one page, 8.5 x 11, illustrated Walt Disney Productions 'Mickey Mouse Sound Cartoons' letterhead, May 29, 1936. Letter to Nell Turner, in full: “I received a reply this morning from Dr. Giannini to my letter to him regarding the possibility of your securing employment with the Bank of America. He says, in part: ‘By all means, have Miss Turner call on me. I shall be glad to give her an interview and shall help her to secure a position, if it is in my power to do so.’ This fellow is a very straight shooter and means what he says, so I would suggest your calling his secretary, Miss Falcigha (pronounced Fal-see-ya) who you will find very gracious and helpful. The Doctor is easy to approach and a man who will give you every opportunity to ‘present yourself.’ Good luck, Nell. I am leaving for New York tonight and will be gone four weeks. When I return I will expect to hear that you are established some place in the Bank of America organization. You may present the enclosed letter to Doctor Giannini as a means of identification.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original ‘Mickey Mouse’ mailing envelope.
