American comic actor (1890-1948) who appeared in films alongside such luminaries as the Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, and Fatty Arbuckle. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Kennedy straight-faced with a pipe in his mouth and wearing a cap, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Bob, from, Edgar Kennedy.” Reverse bears as a Radio Pictures credit stamp for Ernest A. Bachrach and an affixed caption for the 1933 Western film Cross Fire. In fine condition, with scattered small creases.
