Program for the ‘Seminar on Space Exploration’ held at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, on February 10-12, 1972, 5.25 x 8.25, signed in black ballpoint by Neil Armstrong and James Van Allen. The cover is also signed by noted scientists Roald Fryxell, Edward Olsen, and Thor Karlstrom. Impressively double-matted and framed with two engraved plates and two photographs of Armstrong at the event to an overall size of 20.75 x 28. In fine condition. In 1972, a three-day conference was convened at Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois, to discuss the future of lunar exploration, bringing together leading academics from across a range of scientific disciplines working in the field, and with a convocation address delivered by Neil Armstrong.
