Featuring words by Randel Weber and music by Dr. O. Becker, the patriotic Southern war anthem concludes: "There's a sound a low sound that is flying, / It's echoes do spread o'er the earth, / 'Tis the wail of the enemy's dying, / The song of our liberty's birth. / Once more now I see, / That Star, Liberty, / And hark we are free, we are free."
