Her Majesty has within the last few days been graciously pleased to intimate Her intention, and that of His Royal Highness Prince Albert to pay me a visit at Stratfield Saye on Monday the 20th…and to remain till Thursday the 23rd…It will make me very happy if you and Lady Heathcote will do me the honour of coming there during that period of time….I will let you know the hour at which Her Majesty will arrive, and the hour at which Her Majesty may fix to dine." In fine condition. Accompanied by a photocopy of Heathcote's draft letter of reply to Wellington, accepting his invitation although excusing his wife as she cannot leave her child.
