Fountain pen signatures, "Stan Laurel" and "Oliver Hardy,” on the reverse of an off-white 3.5 x 2.25 visitor’s card for the Mayor of Morecambe & Heysham; the card is also signed by Laurel and Hardy’s wives. In fine condition, with some tiny pin holes and rust stains. The consignor notes that the signatures were obtained at the Morecambe Town Hall in 1947 when the comedic duo was in town to appear at the Winter Gardens Theatre as part of their ongoing stage tour.
