Impressive 42.5 x 14 panoramic wood engraving entitled "Funeral of President Lincoln, at Washington, D.C., April 19," published in Frank Leslie’s Illustrated Newspaper, vol. 20 (May 6, 1865), pp. 103-04; four panels intact, laid down, matted and framed to an overall size of 48 x 19.5. The scene shows the cortege, attended by a military escort, moving past the President's Mansion, based on drawings done from life by William T. Crane. In very good condition, with moderate overall foxing.
