Description

Partly-printed DS as president, signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 16 x 12, February 8, 1890. President Harrison appoints George W. Bennett as "Postmaster at Warsaw, in the County of Kosciuko, State of Indiana." Boldly signed at the conclusion in ink by President Benjamin Harrison and countersigned by Postmaster General John Wanamaker. The gold foil seal and blue ribbon affixed at the lower left remain mostly intact. In fine condition, with missing portions of the blue ribbons.
