Partly-printed vellum DS in Latin, one page, 21.75 x 17.75, February 25, 1873. Untranslated medical ‘health’ diploma presented by the curators of the University of Buffalo to James Alfred Barringer. Signed at the conclusion by Millard Fillmore as chancellor, and countersigned by eight other faculty members. In very good condition, with overall creasing, staining, and chipping to the bottom edge.
