Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 16.25 x 10, February 5, 1822. President Monroe grants Josiah Hedges of Ohio a parcel of land "in the district of Delaware and State of Ohio, continuing one hundred & nine acres." Signed at the conclusion in ink by President James Monroe and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Josiah Meigs. In very good to fine condition, with some irregular ink adhesion, a small stain at the center, and the seal missing. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.
