Original sketch of German operatic tenor Alois Burgstaller by Enrico Caruso, accomplished in ink on an off-white 6 x 9.5 sheet of Hotel York stationery, signed in the lower right corner, “Enrico Caruso, N. Y. 1908.” The reverse of the sheet is annotated: “U tenore Burgstaller.” Matted to an overall size of 8.5 x 11. In fine condition.
