Souvenir transcript entitled "The Final Minute," one page, 8.5 x 11, signed at the conclusion in black felt tip, "Charles M. Duke, Jr., Apollo 11 CAPCOM." The transcript provides the exchange between the Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong on board the LM Eagle, and Charlie Duke in Mission Control, as the Apollo 11 lunar module descended to the lunar surface on July 20, 1969. Duke fills out his portion of the radio transcript: "60 seconds," "30 seconds," "We copy you down, Eagle," and "Roger, Tranquility. We copy you on the ground. You got a bunch of guys about to turn blue. We're breathing again. Thanks a lot."
Along the edge, Duke reflects on this experience: "This last 60 seconds was very tense in MCC. We had experienced comm and computer problems and now we were running out of gas. It got very quiet and tense in MCC. I felt a big relief when I heard Buzz call contact. Then elation and satisfaction set in." In very fine condition.
