Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 15.5 x 10, May 17, 1831. President Jackson grants Thomas K. Jarratt of Montgomery County a parcel of land "at Cahaba, Alabama, containing eighty acres." Prominently signed at the conclusion in ink by President Andrew Jackson, and countersigned by Commissioner of the general Land Office Elijah Hayward. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. Mounted and cloth-matted with a portrait (featuring Jackson's facsimile signature) to an overall size of 27 x 15. In fine condition, with minor ink adhesion issues.
