Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Pennsylvania (1742–1798), and one of only six men who signed both the Declaration and the U.S. Constitution. Partial autograph document by James Wilson, who signs in the third-person within the text, one page, both sides, 7.75 x 1.25, no date. A handwritten document section containing a total of 76 words in the hand of Wilson, which reads: “…obtained for the same, and, as soon as may be, on their or either of their effecting a scale of the whole or any part of the Premises from time to time to notify the said James Wilson therewith and of the terms…pose of the said premises or any part of parts thereof upon the following terms to wit one third part of the consideration…in cash and the remainder thereof to be secured by.” In fine condition.
