TLS from George Harrison’s sister Louise, one page, 6.5 x 8, postmarked in Liverpool on January 25, 1965. Sent from the family’s Mackets Lane, Liverpool address, a handwritten letter to a Beatles fan in the USA: “Sorry for the delay in answering your letter, but I receive many hundreds every week from all over the world, and have difficulty in replying to them all. The boys have just completed their English tour, and it was very successful. Now they are having a couple of weeks to rest, and they really deserve it. The Christmas Show is finished [and] they will start on a new coloured movie. This will take three months. Sorry I do not know when the Beatles are visiting the U.S.A. again. Thank you very much for the gift, and the Season's Greetings.” Louise adds a handwritten salutation and postscript: “Janet & Paul were pleased with the little books. Thanks for calendar and Kool Aid.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by the original hand-addressed mailing envelope.
