He made worldwide headlines in 1961 for the capture of notorious Nazi fugitive Adolf Eichmann. Group lot of two items signed by Simon Wiesenthal: Untranslated TLS signed "Wiesenthal," one page, 8.25 x 11.75, Dokkumentationszentrum des Bundes Jüdischer Verfolgter des Naziregimes letterhead, May 5, 1971; and a personal business card signed on the reverse in blue ballpoint, "Wiesenthal, 30.7.72." In fine condition, with a couple of light paperclip impressions to the letter.
