Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 album signed on the front cover in ink by George Harrison ("Nelson Wilbury," writing over an initial "Ge"), Roy Orbison ("Lefty, Roy"), Tom Petty ("Charlie Wilbury") and Jeff Lynne ("Otis, Jeff Lynne"). In very fine condition. The record is not included. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, in part: "This album cover was signed for a Warner Brothers Records executive at the time of release. Autographed Traveling Wilburys album covers in any form are extremely rare and desirable. It is my professional opinion that the aforementioned Traveling Wilburys album cover signed by George Harrison as 'Nelson Wilbury,' and also by other band members is authentic, as described." The Traveling Wilburys are known to have signed a scant number of albums during a visit to Warner Bros.' offices, an event at which Bob Dylan—otherwise known as 'Lucky Wilbury'—was not present. Orbison passed away just six weeks after the album's release, rendering band-signed copies virtually unobtainable.
