American psychologist and social philosopher (1904–1990) who was the Edgar Pierce Professor of Psychology at Harvard University from 1958 until his retirement in 1974; contemporary academia considers Skinner a pioneer of modern behaviorism, along with John B. Watson and Ivan Pavlov. TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Harvard University letterhead, February 20, 1986. Letter to Philip L.
