Description

Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 22 x 17, April 18, 1902. President Roosevelt appoints Edwin W. Pickett as "Postmaster at Fairfield in the…state of Connecticut." Signed at the conclusion by Theodore Roosevelt and countersigned by Postmaster General H. C. Payne. The gold foil seal and red ribbon remain affixed to the lower left corner. In very good to fine condition, with light soiling and a few short edge tears.
