Belgian author (1903-1989) best known for his Inspector Maigret detective novels. Glossy 4 x 5.75 close-up photo, signed and inscribed in black ink, "Pour John D. Buchanan…Georges Simenon, 1975." The reverse bears a Francois Gonet photography stamp. In fine condition, with two circular postal impressions to Simenon's face.
