Amateur artist's original pen-and-ink sketch of colorful newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst on an off-white 6.75 x 10.25 sheet, humorously signed and inscribed in the lower corner in fountain pen, "My dear Mr. Lamoreaux, Have you not made me a bit too stern? Sincerely, W. R. Hearst." Also signed by the artist in the lower left corner. Attractively cloth-matted and framed with a plaque to an overall size of 15.5 x 26. In fine condition.
