Handwritten letter to a friend, in part: "An eastern trip is planned which will take me into the colleges in several states. I will not leave I hope for at least two weeks…Thank God for such a wonderful manifestation of His Holy Spirit upon the hearts of men. Isn't it great to have a part in such a spiritual outpouring. I am glad you and your good wife are both so well…It seems great to have you say that you will come to see me again. You must plan to stay longer as we want to have some heart to heart chats. I have heard of the book to which you refer but have not seen it." Impressively cloth-matted and framed with a color copy of the front of the letter, a portrait, and a biographical caption to an overall size of 35.25 x 19.5. In fine condition.
