1. Edwards passing was both a shock and a blessing! He was in very bad shape at the end. Just went to sleep, however.
2. It was wonderful hearing from you on New Year's Eve.
3. Glad you like the proof of Zibette. I do, too!!!
4. I think the Inc. Lt. system is simpler and more positive than any for the amateur. (That's my opinion to date!) I do NOT agree that the A. is a H. A. More about all this soon.
5. The big prints are coming along—probably will be shipped tomorrow. Looks well, only the mounting is not 100%. We live and learn!
6. Cole Weston is the man to talk to about the prints (and write to) I sent a card and reminded him I had sent the order for your Portfolio to EW.
7. Am interested that Erika is in Cambridge. Give her my warmest.
8. Rooms will be reserved.
9. Look forward to the drive to Yosemite with you both!!!

Adams adds two postscripts “Will you phone Mazzeo for me and tell him I am thinking of him and will write when I can get my brains adjusted? Thanks!!!” and “I am finally getting over that cold—it was flu, and takes a LONG time, damnit!!!!!” In fine condition.
