Original Sketch by Gordon Cooper of the “Side Hatch” of the Mercury Capsule, unsigned, no date (early 1960s), accomplished in graphite on an off-white 8 x 10.5 sheet of notebook paper. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Paul Hartunian, who affirms that the page was removed “from the notebook Gordon Cooper used while training as a Mercury astronaut.”
