Fantastic 1:48 scale model of a docked Apollo Command-Service Module and Lunar Module issued as part of the 'Executive Series' by Daron, measuring approximately 13˝ long and displayed over a 10˝ x 5.75˝ x 1.5˝ wooden base, signed on the base in silver ink, "Neil Armstrong transmitted: 'Houston, Tranquility Base here, the Eagle has landed!' 'That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.' Charles M. Duke, Jr., Apollo 11 CAPCOM, July 20, 1969." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original box.
