Description

TLS signed “John Kennedy,” one page, 6.25 x 9, personal Congress of the United States (House of Representatives) letterhead, September 14, 1950. Letter to Irma L. Rossman of Brookline, Massachusetts, in full: “This is to advise you that Mr. Joseph Kane of Boston, who has been interested in your case, has requested me to determine just what your prospects are of securing an appointment from the register for Research Psychologist (Psychophysics). I have contacted the U. S. Civil Service Board of Examiners at New London, and shall let you hear from me when I receive a report from that office.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, which bears Kennedy’s stamped congressional franking signature.
