Snyder: “Thanks a lot for your memorandum regarding Joe Lawler and Ernie Flinn.” Included with Truman’s note are copies of correspondence between himself and District Judge Roy W. Harper, who was beseeching Truman to help Ernest Flinn attain a position in the District Commissioner’s office. A letter from Snyder to Truman from September 17th, affirms that Flinn is “not quite qualified for the position.” In very fine condition.
