Normally we support the decision of the General Synod, but I note you are both opposed to this measure. Thank you also for the articles. As you know, I firmly believe that the Soviet threat must not be underestimated. I hope I may see you at the Autumn Fair.” Thatcher adds the salutation in her own hand.
