President Andrew Johnson writes to the Peruvian president, General Mariano Ignacio Prado

Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 8.5 x 11, May 13, 1867. President Johnson authorizes and directs the Secretary of State to affix the Seal of the United States to “the Envelope of my letter to the President of the Republic of Peru.” Signed in bold black ink at the conclusion by Andrew Johnson. In fine condition.
