Letter acknowledging a gift, in part: "I am writing to acknowledge receipt of the contribution contained in your letter of recent date…I believe that the results which our graduates and former students, in the face of considerable difficulties, have obtained throughout the South, will convince you of the wisdom of your investment." In fine condition, with some light edge creasing.
