Exceptional vintage matte-finish 6.5 x 8.75 portrait photo of Thomas Edison in a handsome seated pose by Falk of New York, affixed to the original 8.75 x 11 mount, which is signed in fountain pen with his classic umbrella signature, "Thomas A. Edison,” who adds an inscription to the left, “Mr. St. George Brooke Tucker.” In fine condition, with some light wear to the right of the photo. St. George Tucker Brooke (1844-1914) was a professor at West Virginia University College of Law.
