Official United States Navy commission, in part: “Know ye that in accordance with...the regulations for the Government of the United States Naval Reserve Force, Charles James Anderson...is hereby given the provisional rank and grade of Commander in the Naval Auxiliary Reserve, Class Three.” The blue seal affixed at lower left remains intact. In fine condition, with scattered soiling.
