Handwritten letter regarding the city of Pontoise, in part (translated): "My son brought me your letter this morning asking me for information about Pontoise, its college, etc. I too could not be more embarrassed, I am forced to leave Pontoise to my great regret, not finding a house in a good location and at a modest price. To my great regret because in my opinion Pontoise suited me from all points of view...I forgot, the country is very beautiful." In fine condition.
