Program for the Paul McCartney and Wings UK Tour of 1973, in support of the album Red Rose Speedway, eight pages, 8.25 x 11.75, signed on the back cover in blue ballpoint by McCartney. The consignor notes that the autograph was obtained at the City Hall in Newcastle, England on July 10, 1973. The show had originally been booked for May 23rd but was rescheduled to July 10th. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing and handling wear. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and a copy of a letter of provenance from the original recipient: “I was at the Paul + Wings concert per ticket stub 23rd May 1973 the 3rd row from the stage. Before the concert I spoke to Paul & Denny Seiwell (Denny’s Birthday). They told us after the concert to go round to the back of City Hall (stage door) we talked to the coach driver and he arranged to look on the bus & get autographs from Paul which we did. They were all very friendly (drunk) and signed my programmes, also gave me a poster + Frisbee.”
