Original artwork by Bob Dylan entitled ‘View from Two Windows,’ created in 2007 for his acclaimed ‘Drawn Blank Series,’ accomplished in gouache and mixed media on 24 x 30.5 artist paper, signed below in paint by Dylan. The work depicts the inside of an upper-story room viewed from the perspective of a standing observer, with the foreground composed of a table, chair, and a television set, and the background featuring a large beige curtain and a pair of multi-paned windows that look down upon a house, greenery, and what appears to be a body of water. In very fine condition. Archivally framed to an overall size of 27.75 x 33.75; the frame backing bears a label from the Halcyon Gallery of London, where this painting was exhibited in 2008. The consignor notes that this painting, which appears on page 84 in the Drawn Blank Series catalog, was obtained from the Castle Fine Art Gallery.
