AQS on an off-white 7 x 4.5 sheet, signed and dated at the conclusion, "Henry W. Longfellow, Jan. 25, 1867." Longfellow pens the final stanza from his poem entitled 'The Day Is Done,' in full: "And the night shall be filled with music / And the cares, that infest the day, / Shall fold their tents like the Arabs, / And as silently steal away." In fine condition, with intersecting folds and wrinkling to the right side.
