1954 Bank of Canada one-dollar bill signed on the reverse in black felt tip, “Best wishes, Paul McCartney." In very good to fine condition, with some light stains, and multiple vertical folds. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter of provenance from the nephew of the original recipient: “I inherited this Canadian dollar signed by Paul McCartney from my grandfather, Joe Bernard, who met the Beatles in the 1960s when he was a radio station manager in Kansas City.” The Beatles performed only once in Kansas at the Municipal Stadium on September 17, 1964.
